ICEY-TEK USA LLC Warranty, Shipping and Returns Policies

LIMITED WARRANTY ON ICEY-TEK® COOLERS

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. 

The limited warranty can also be found online at https://icey-tek.com/pages/warranty-returns.

We warrant that during the warranty period, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

We limit the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to repair or replacement or refund as described below in this warranty statement.

We do no warrant or otherwise guarantee the maintenance of temperature inside the cooler. Cooler temperature is contingent on several factors, including atmospheric conditions, frequency of opening and closing, cooler handling, and the type and amount of cooling agent in relation to cooler contents. Responsibility for maintaining a desired temperature within a cooler lies solely with the user.

Who may use this warranty?

Icey-Tek USA LLC located at address 24290 US-70, Huntingdon, TN 38344 ("we") extend this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product ("you"). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the cooler (the "product") for the Warranty Period as defined below.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to punctures, scratches, discoloration or fading of colors and breakdown of materials over an extended time period due to usage, exposure to sunlight or washing.

WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE?

Icey-Tek USA LLC’s goal is to make each sales experience with our company the best experience possible. To that end, this limited warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts for five (5) years (the "Warranty Period"). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY?

With respect to any defective product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, either: (a) repair or replace such product (or the defective part) free of charge or (b) refund the purchase price of such product. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement product to you if we elect to repair or replace the defective product.

HOW DO YOU OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?

The following conditions must be met for you to make a warranty claim.

  • The product must have been purchased directly from Icey-Tek USA LLC or from an authorized Icey-Tek USA LLC Dealer.
  • Proof of purchase including amount and date of purchase from Icey-Tek USA LLC or and authorized Icey-Tek USA LLC Dealer must be provided.
  • The cooler must have been used only as intended and in accordance with the product’s care and use instructions.
  • You must return the product for which you are placing the claim to Icey-Tek USA LLC.

To obtain warranty service, you must submit Warranty Claim Form.

One of our customer service representatives will respond back within 2-3 business days following a review of your request.

If your warranty claim is approved, you will be supplied with a Return Material Authorization number (RMA#) and a pre-paid shipping label.

Products must be returned directly to ICEY-TEK USA LLC in adequate cardboard packaging. Additionally, a copy of the original sales receipt and the RMA# must accompany the product when it is returned.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Ordering, Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy:

Customers ordering from the www.Icey-Tek.com website are responsible for verifying their order details are correct, these include product style, size, color, and price. These details are all clearly shown prior to checkout and final order. No refund claims shall be accepted due to customer error without the prior consent of ICEY-TEK USA LLC.

All shipping rates are for the lower contiguous 48 states of the USA only. Ice coolers/chests are bulky items and shipping is charged by dimensional weight.

Subject to the item ordered being available from inventory, we will ship the item within 48 business hours following receipt of order. All orders will be confirmed as appropriate.

Should a customer wish to return a cooler or another item, for any reason other than a manufacturing defect, the customer must contact ICEY-TEK USA LLC to agree on a return shipping method. Customer will be required to pay return shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee. After these deductions, the refund balance will be made either by company check or credit card refund within 10 days of satisfactory return of goods.

Any local duties, tariffs, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer at the point of delivery. 

If you receive an item that has clearly been damaged in shipment, please report the damage to the delivery company, for example, UPS or Fed Ex, and contact Icey-Tek USA LLC with the details within 24 hours of delivery.
